hide cells based on conditional formating

I have a conditional formating formula that highlights duplicate entries.
    =COUNTIF($E$2:$E$5000,E1)>1
How can I hide cells which aren't duplicates?

You could set the default format so that the font color is the same as the background color (e.g., white).

I'm actually trying to compress the list so I can review and remove the duplicate entries one-by-one. Hiding non-duplicate cells would simply make it more efficient.

Conditional formatting can't hide rows, and Advanced Filter can't test conditional formatting. You could apply the same criteria to Advanced Filter as you're using for conditional formatting.
