remove leading space in cell?

I exported some data from Quickbooks and for some reason it put a leading space in some of the cells. Is there a way to remove just this leading space?

In the next column

=TRIM(A1)

assuming your value is in A1, then drag down. Copy and paste values over the original data to make it permanent.
