    Pivot table data formating.

    Hi Everyone,

I have made a pivot table out of a database.

If I would like to have the details I just click on the figure in the pivot table

and it gives me a new sheet with all the data. In my database there are

several columns having long text (that column's width is 285).

I would like to know if there is any method to wrap those column so that

whenever I click on the Pivot table it will not display those column 285

    chracter long.
    thank you

Smile Do you need the fields that long in your database?

Is it necessary to have your fields that long in the database - don't forget you can alter the length of your fields and it is better to do so to keep everything nice and neat and tidy.

You can always try formatting your pivot table cell it refers to to wrap text as you would do if you were reading data in a datasheet spreadsheet on Excel.
