Could someone help? Is there a way I can instruct the tab key to go to specified cells within a worksheet in a particular order to enter new text as an ongoing function?
Many thanks.

You can unlock the cells that you want to tab through, then protect the sheet. Tabbing will then activate the next unlocked cell. As for order, it goes from left to right, top to bottom. One of the VB experts on this site would have to right a macro to change the order.
sounds complicated - thanks for your help.
Don't know whether you're referring to the macro or my first suggestion. For my first suggestion, just select the cells you want to tab through, right-click, Format Cells...,Protection tab, uncheck "Locked", click OK. Then protect the worksheet (the method for this is different depending on your version, so you would have to find it in Help).
Your first suggestion works, thank you. I still have the problem that the cells that I need others to enter data into the cells I'm now tabbing directly to. If I protect the worksheet then this stops additional data being entered later. Any suggestions?
