Window will not maximize!bar is grey!

I'm current using excel 2007 and have designed a workbook for various forms which work fine, however all of a sudden the sheet will no longer fully restore it stays in an odd size and the bar is also grayed out.

I have password protected the vba code i'm not sure if that would do it!

Any help would be great appreciated.

If you protected the workbook (not work sheets), and selected protect 'windows' it will do this.

You can un-protect the book, then re-protect it, but this time only protecting structure and not windows should wort out the problem.
