    Filter Formula & Include Blanks

    Hi everyone

I’ve a problem which I need some help with but with my knowledge of Excel can’t find a way to achieve using either formulas or filters alone.

The attached contains an example, several other columns have been deleted to simplify.

What it contains are the milestones for delivery of a whole lot of different product types, the output format however does not populate the product type on every row which contains a milestone, just the one which corresponds to the first.

I want my final spreadsheet to show only the milestones for a particular sub-group of product types.

In this case I only want to show those for any product types which are variants of the main groups L02, L03 or L04.

So for example products of type L02m-3 and L04s-1 should be included but not M01 or C13.

Can anyone suggest either some formula or logical way of sorting which eliminates the data I don’t want bearing in mind the original spreadsheet is some 17,000 lines long.

    Many thanks in advance.

    H.
