This has happened to me a few times and in some cases it makes the posted solution wrong (Spaces inserted in certain parts of formulas).

If I try to edit the post to correct it, it shows the text without spaces, but after posting the space is still there.

Are you posting the text between
    &
    tags, and formulae between
     &
    tags?

    Hi Richard,

    Check this thread:

    http://www.excelforum.com/showthread.php?t=637627

    Post response 4 and 5.

I wasn´t quoting and neither was Darkyam...

I think it might have to do with the forum settings. For example when posting, if you add 20 spaces between 2 words It will automatically delete 19 of them. It seems it is also adding spaces when there shouldn´t have been none...

This site, like many others, automaticaly removes multiple spaces, empty lines at the end of posts, and similar things. The goal is to save screen space and database memory.

I also have had a mystery phantom space inserted into some of my posts. But it doesn't seem to get picked-up when copy pasting.

Wrapping with code tags should preseve spaces for indenting and multiple spaces.

..Wrap code by selecting the code and clicking the # or read this. Thank you.

    Thanks for the clarification.
