    Solid Line Header

    Hi all,

Anyone know how to have a solid line run across the top of the page? I can underline text, but it isn't really what I was looking for. Any thoughts?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

How about using a border, select the cells, right-click, Format cells > Border, then either use the top or bottom border

Sorry, it its actually for an excel graph, so it isn't as simple as just adding a border to some cells. Can't believe excel doesn't offer this as an option, probably staring right at me and I keep missing it.

    Hi,

Have you got the chart on a sheet on it's own?

Can't you just call up the Excel Drawing toolbar and use that?

Hi all, thanks for the suggestions.

The graph is on its own tab.

The drawing tool-bar works well to just add a line to the graph, but I was trying to put it in the header itself. I could export the graph to word and add the line in the header there, but was hoping to skip that step as I'll have dozens of graphs by the time this is all done.

Yes, I stopped putting graphs on tabs by themselves for reasons like this. I prefer to imbed them into an empty spreadsheet. You still get the graph by itself but you have options available because it's inside a spreadsheet. You might want to move it to an empty spreadsheet.

Unfortunately I think putting it in its own spreadsheet is the way to go. Thanks all.
