    Operation on different lines

    Hello,

I just received a price list made on Excel at work and want to change all the cost prices on it to my Selling prices.

So all i want to do is select all the prices and multiply by 1.25 so i get a 20% mark-up on them.

I was just wondering if i could select 10 lines and apply a certain operation so that all the values in those lines can be multiplied by 1.25 without having to do it cell by cell or line by line.

    Thank you!

    Try this

Put 1.25 in an empty cell.
Copy that cell and then choose the range of values you wish to increase
Edit > Paste Special > under "operation" select "multiply" > OK
