When I try to create a graph I get a message "No more new fonts may be applied to this workbook". What is this about and how do I get rid of it. A new spreadsheet is not desirable.
Thanks in anticipation.

The error message gives the impression of an internal limit being reached.
Is this a very complex spread-sheet containing a large number of different fonts all over the place?
If so have you tried reducing the overall number of fonts you use?
Are you using a "user defined" chart type?
If so does this chart type involve an unusually large number of different fonts?
Can you get the "standard" chart types to work?
Mark.
Hello john6974,
Have a look at this Microsoft support atricle on the causes of this error and how to correct it. Also redo your title per the Forum Rules.
Too many different cell formats error

Problem has been sorted by itself it would seem. I've made no alterations but it is working fine now. Strange.
Thanks for your help and sorry for thread title. I do not know how to change the title name on original.
John
