    Date Calculation

Hello. Can someone please help me?

I have a Start Date, (14-Mar-08 for example), and I want to calculate an estimated End Date.

In a separate form, the user has calculated a number of Days, based on how long the user estimates it will take to do a series of tasks.

So, we have a Start Date, and a number of Days, (5 Days for example). How can I get an End Date to auto-populate where the End Date is the Start Date plus the number of Days estimated.

So in my example: 14-Mar-08 + 5 Days.

    Thanks a ton,
    Jon Hook

You can just add the two, if date is in A1 and number of days to add in B1 then use this formula in C1

    =A1+B1

I think my problem is that my "Days" value is just a number.

When I try to format that cell, I don't see a way to logically save that value as "Days".

So my current set-up is: A1 = Date, B1 = Number, C1 = Formula of (Date + Number). That isn't right, is it?

    Got it!

Thank you. I tried your suggestion once, and it didn't work. I fooled with it for a bit, and now it is working.

    Thanks a ton,
    Jon
