Lock an autoshape

Hi! I have just joined and have searched for an answer to a question but to no avail. the question is in excel 2003 how do I lock an autoshape so that a user cannot select it or move it on the page. thank you in advance for any answers

Hi, Try Tools, Protection,Protect sheet

thanks for your answer unfortunately this does not work the shape can still be sellected and moved even with the sheet protected
