create descending or ascending dates

How do I create descending or ascending dates in rows? I want to be a primary date in the first cell and then have the cells below it list dates in ascending order. Is this possible? Thanks.

Oh, wait. I think I figured it out. It's just =A1+1 (Assuming A1 is the primary date). Seems simple enough.
