Combo Box - Specified Criteria

Morning Folks,

Been playing about this morning setting up combo boxes to filter down data. But having a wee glitch.

(Note : Just so your aware, I do not want to use the auto filter function)

I have a list of postcodes:

IV31 1BH
EH54 6AB
G52 7BB
AB21 2AA

etc etc.

I was trying to get the combo box to on list the first letters of the postcode

for example

IV
EH
G
AB

etc etc.

But not having much luch working out how to do that. Also though about creating another column to only show post code beginning, but again, not sure ?.
