How to compare content of two columns

I have two colums both with alot of dates in the following format dd.mm.yyyy hh:ss

I want to be able to sort out those that have the same date (doesnt have to be the same time)

There are 1800+ rows so Id rather not do this manually :|

    Hi Klingon,

You can use the MATCH or SUMPRODUCT function.

    Very Helpful

I especially found corinereyes reply to be helpful. I needed to compare Hire Date to Service Date and I was able to easily use the example to do this and put in a special message. Now I just need to work out how to record a macro so that outsourcing team can run it every month on new spreadsheet that they run of prior month rehires.
