Problems with Hyperlinks from Excel

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help?

I have an excel spreadsheet that I need to regularly create a hyperlink to a document in a specific folder - specifically a pdf file. I have recently encountered a problem of opening the file via the hyperlink in excel - adobe just flashes up then closes within a second.

Is this something that can be rectified through excel?

You don't say if you receive an error message, nor if the PDF is created (even if it is empty). It would be helpful to see the code that creates the hyperlink, and the versions of software you are using. You need to provide more details before anyone can answer your question.
