Having a problem with formulating cells...

This one is really throwing me for a loop, I can usually figure this kind of thing out. Im trying to formulate one cell to read from two different cells, and display both of them in that single cell, separated of course.

    For instance:

I already set formulas for my whole workbook, so I have cell G4 of "FB Form 25" which is the one i want to read and split the other two cells from another workbook if you will.

Then on "Platoon MAL" i have cells B2, and C2 which are Name and SSN of one person.

So i need a formula that will link B2 abd C2 together and split them apart and read in cell G4 on another workbook, your help is greatly appreciated.

    open both workbooks
    in g4 enter =
then go to other work book and click on b2
then in formula bar after $B$2
    insert &" "&
    then click on c2

you should see something like this in the formula bar

    then press enter.
however once you save and reopen the workbooks this will link with the full path
and clicking on g4 will show the formula something like this
