unable to delete a line

i cant delete this line (please see attached sheet). its not a border or an object.

Go to View|Toolbars and select Drawing, so you get the drawing toolbar displayed. click on the Arrow button and click-drag-select around the lines then delete them.

They're simply lines drawin with the drawing tools.
