    Date Formatting

I've imported data to Excel where the dates are entered as 240707, for example. How would i change this to 24/07/07? When I try and do it via Format Cells-Number-Date it changes the date to 240,707 days from 01/01/1900.

Any help would be appreciated as I need this information for a meeting later today!

If you have a column of these "dates" Select the column and convert this way

Data > Text to columns > Next > Next > from "column data format" choose "date" option and DMY > Finish
