Formating Date from one cell to another

I'm creating a subject line for email. I'm using different cells to create the subject.

    ="_ "&+B1&"_ "&+G1&"_ "&I1

The cell G1 holds the date and I want to use the date within the subject line. What I need to know is how to make this date show as a date and not a number in the cell where the above formula is located. I've tried to format the cell the same as cell G1 without success.

    something like:

    ="_ "&+B1&"_ "&+Text(G1,"dd/mm/yy")&"_ "&I1

where "dd/mm/yy" is the format you want...you can change to suit.
Where there is a will there are many ways.

It took actually less than 10 seconds to figure out....the 8 minutes includes time before your post was seen after you posted it and time to actually reply....
