first letter of every word with a . afterwards

I I am looking for a formula with extracts the first letter of every word in a cell
J(2-1000) = | Peter Carl S. D. |

and puts out

K(2-1000) | P. C. S. D. |

I'm trying to do something similar but different.

I just want the initials of a persons name...

to return
