I am assuming you meant you want to enter the SSN in F3 and pull the name from column M?

I tried your formula and it renders #N/A
I am sure I am Doing someting wrong, can youput it on he sample file for me?

I enter the SSN number in F3 and the formula in A3 gave the name found in column M corresponding to the SSN number.

Please, God, Jolivas, tell me that you did not post a file containing actual social security numbers. If you have, it's incumbent on you to tell each person on the list so they can protect themselves.

Negative I would Never Put any confidential information out.
there wasn't any personel information in that file. However apreciate the concern. SSNs were 555-55-5555 for Jhon smith.
