    Excel wont 'interpret' my concatenated string as a Label

    Hi All,

    Heres my prob, which im sure there must be a simple solution to.
    I have a concatenated string whose final output I'd like to act as a cell/label reference.

    Sooo..
    This...
    CONCATENATE("_MTP",(SUBSTITUTE(C52,"-","")

    Outputs something like this...
    _MTP0050050
    This is ALSO the name of a Label I've defined in my spread. Right now, "MTP0050050", gets output as text to a cell. I dont want this. Instead, I want it to refer to the content of my label, and pull whatever value is inside it (if cell B52 is 'labelled' as '_mtp0050050' and contains a value of X, I want X outputted to the cell). What can I do to get excel to do this?

    any reposne is appreciated

    I think you need Indirect:

    e.g. =Indirect(B52)
    Where there is a will there are many ways.
