    Tracking a Project in Excel

    Hi

I wonder if anybody has any ideas about how I could track a project in Excel - does anybody have a template that I could use?

    Many thanks

What you're asking is not the easiest thing to do.

Here you go...I built this some years ago:
Fully functional Excel model that tracks a project, following
Project Management Book of Knowlege/Rapid Product Development(PMBOK/RPD) guidelines.

I'm with Ron - much easier with dedicated specific software. MSProject is expensive to buy and not simple to learn, but it is "standard". There are plenty of alternatives, both cheaper and more extravagent.

There are also available on the 'net many attempts to do the job in excel, not many of them elegant.

    Good luck!!
