Find Furthest Number to the Left

    Hi Guys,

Can anyone tell me how to find the furthest number to the left, in cells ED9 to EQ9?

    I.e. ED9 might be N/A, EE9 might be "HELLO", EF9 may be 29. Therefore I want 29.

    Thanks!

    Try:

    =INDEX(ED9:EQ9,MATCH(TRUE,ISNUMBER(ED9:EQ9),0))

formula must be confirmed with CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER not just ENTER. YOu will see { } brackets appear around the formula
Where there is a will there are many ways.
