Well the code worked but when I went to look at my numbers today, they all shifted along with the first page. So instead of it being A1 when I inserted the new row, the second page is now referencing A2.

    from second sheet
    =Current!$A$1

After inserting a row on the first sheet this is what the second sheet reads
    =Current!$A$2

    Any more ideas?

    Maybe

    =INDIRECT("Current!A"&ROW(A1))
    VBA Noob

    Your welcome

    Could also try

    =OFFSET(INDIRECT("Current!A1"),ROW(A1)-1,COLUMN(A1)-1)
    VBA Noob
