Transferring text between sheets?

I hope this is simple enough to answer. I just can't seem to figure out where to find it.

How can I take text that is entered into 1 worksheet and have it transfer to another worksheet but not in the same cell. Say I want put my name in a data sheet and it transfer that name to a different cell within a new sheet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Let's say your name is inputted into cell C3 on Sheet 1 and you want it in D4 on Sheet 2.

In cell D4, sheet 2 enter;

=Sheet1!C3
