I have a new problem I hope that i can get help....

I am working with a price list from a suplier, in the part number he adds items like ea for each and other words like bulk

    example

    02789 bulk

If I do a edit find bulk (with the space) replace with blank, it removes the 0,

    2789

I have tried to format general, text and many different way's but I loose the 0, can anyone help?

    Thaks

    Hi Roger

An alternative to Replace would be to use Data>TextToColumns and select Space as a delimiter and then specify that the first column is to have import format Text (to retain the leading zero) and that the second column (ie bulk etc) is to be skipped.
