Deleting Certain Character

    Hi, newbie here,

I have a csv file where in 1 column i have 230 cells which contain a description. Within the description there are quotation marks ( " " )

I need a formula to find and delete these quotations so they are not in the description as these are causing a problem.

Could anyone please advise if this is possible and how i go about doing it?

    Many thanks

    Mike

    Hi

    thank you for your freply.

However, i tried this before and when i click replace or find i get error messages such as, Microsoft Office Excel cannot find a match. I guess this is due to the object being searched for is a charater?

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks

    Mike

    Hi

    This is an example of the date which is in the first cell;

Our belief is that extraordinary customer service should be demonstrated by each and every team member. as supported by our award winning “Good to Great” culture covering training, coaching, and motivating to achieve the highest possible standards in service to both our guests and colleagues.

I need the quotation marks deleted?

    Thanks

    Mike

Don't see the quote marks. I assume you mean
so try putting that in find box
