    Formatting numbers in Excel

    I have MS excel 2003 on XP Sp 2.
    I have regional settings set to show the digit group

    like 00,00,000.00 in currekcy as well as in numbers.
    I have set teh options in excel to use system

    separators.
    still, when I format ny digits as numbers or currency it

    follows only 000,000.00
    I want thousnad seperator only once, later digit to be

    grouped in couples.
    Any clue?
    PLease send replies to "xxxxxxxxxx",too. thanks.

    That doesn't seem to work, Excel changes it to #,###,##0.00

    Indeed it does.

    This worked for me:

    [>=10000000]##\,##\,##\,##0.00;[>=100000]##\,##\,##0.00;##,##0.00
