Index and Match-import Rates

Sheet: Exphand and Data

I am trying to import Rates from DATA SHEET automaticaly in Cell: B10 on Exphand sheet. Since RATE ( B10 on EXPHAND SHEET) is dependent on WEIGHT ( N6 in EXPHAND SHEET). I have weight ranges.I have to test Value in N6 horizontaly with row on DATA SHEET where B4 (EXPHAND SHEET) = Column A ( DATA SHEET).


Example 1:

When B4 ( Exphand sheet) = SYN-BKB
and N6 ( Exphand Sheet ) = Between 100 and 300 kgs

then B 10 ( Exphand sheet ) = 1.80

Example 2:

When B4 ( Exphand sheet) = SYN-BKC
and N6 ( Exphand Sheet ) = Between 300 and 500 kgs

then B 10 ( Exphand sheet ) = 1.6 Kgs

INDEX is the function you need to find a spesific item in a 2 dimentional array. This means your table of rates.
MATCH is the function you use to find the correct row and column to look into. Note the difference of the third parameter of the MATCH function. 0 means find exact match - used for the Code. And 1 means find closest match that is lower than the lookup value - Used for the Weight.

I have added a index row (row 2) for the weight ranges.
