chaning colours if not entry is made

    Hi again !!

This may be an awkward one (it is for me!!)

Is there a way to automaically change a cells colour if nothing has been put in it by the end of the day? for example if a cell is blank at 23:59 on the current date I would want the cell background colour to change to red. also could this be applied to the row or part of the row that the relevant cell is in?

Many thanks in advance for any help or advice you can give

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

Interesting question.... see if this works for you. I've formatted the cells to Yellow, but if no entry if placed in the cell today, then it turns Red.

I'm afraid I'm still using 2003 at the moment, but I think you will find Conditional formatting in 2007, under - Home | Conditional Formatting

Check out Colour Scales on the demo, I think it could be there?
