format to start new line in a single text cell?

    Hi,
I've imported some data into text cells in excel 2003 and when I 'Wrap' the text, there appears to be an invisible key stroke / format that makes the text format in lines under each other in the same single cell. Even if I make the cell width twice as wide as the first 'line', it still appears in a list.

When not wrapped, the text appears in one line with just normal spaces between the words.

So 'Soduim chloride 15mg/l total Cadmium 0.005ug/l etc' when not wrapped appears as
    Sodium chloride 15mg/l
    Total Cadmium 0.005ug/l
    etc

in the same singel cell when wrapped...

Is anyone aware of a keystroke I can add at places along the text that will separte the line out this way?

    Many thanks,

    Hi

Alt+Enter will enter a LineFeed (Ascii code 10) in the cell which you are editing (ie typing in).
