you could set the background to a picture of the phone
    format/sheet/background.
this however will repeat the picture over the whole sheet(though you could hide all the others)
the picture has to be the size you want first,

    Wink

the thing with setting it as the background is all well if the data is to be static , because the phones have multiple pages it wont work.

I have laid out the data which is linked to a page table for the user to view the pages. The picture i have needs the button areas cut out so you can see the cells in the background ( where the data is held).

its possble to cut transparent holes in images
but it takes a bit of messing around.
first edit your picture by selecting an area/s you want transparent
    and cut them out.
    i used infranview
    insert picture into spread sheet
then /right click image to show picture toolbar
use the transparency tool to set the cut 'box' transparent
    see attached example
you cant type through it tho so youd have to stick a formula in to ref another cell i used =a1
p.s. it doesnt work with bit maps use jpeg for image format

    Unhappy

managed to get as far as using the transparant tool but it seems to wipe half the image. is it because most of the image is black. File is too big to attach 274k

M8 3hrs a a movie later it is to do with the colour i changed the cutout color to white and it worked.

    cant thank you enough.

p.s. next stage is to setup a button so (up) when clicked using a mouse it increment a cell by 16 or decrements if the (down) button is pressed. would this be using control btn ?
