field to be blank if a customer part number is not found?

I have a form in which a macro populates a field titled customer part#. If the macro looks up the sales order number in our ERP system, ManMan, and finds a customer part number, the field states "Customer part# DS5002". If the macro does not find a customer part number, the fields states "Customer part#". How can I get the field to be blank if a customer part number is not found?

    Thanks,
    Jennifer

    Hello jah72773,

You need to post the macro code before anyone can tell you what needs to changed. Hopefully it isn't written in FORTRAN because I am a little rusty. I haven't seen a ManMan system since the early 1990's.

    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
