    protecting cells

I have a spreadsheet where I want people to input inventory however they always copy & paste the formulas wrong, so I want to protect the cells where the formulas are.

    How do I do this?

I don't want the whole sheet protected just certain cells.

    Step 1

Select all cells then right click > format cells > protection tab > untick locked.

    Step 2
Next select cells with formula by pressing F5 > special > Formulas and while selected repeat step 1 and if you want the formulas hidden also tick hidden

    Step 3
    Protect the sheet

    VBA Noob
