page setup is inactive

I'm supposed to adjust the page orientation and margins but the excel document will not let me click on anything in page setup. The "margins" "orientation" "size" and "print tiles" buttons are gray and impossible to click on. Anyone know why won't it let me change the orientation or margins?

I checked but nothing is protected. I even opened up a new excel document and i'm still unable to change the orientation or margins. hmm. Could it be because I don't have a printer hooked up?

That's very possible, Do you have any print drivers installed at all?If you do, select a printer as the default printer, when you select print, see if you are able to select a printer
