Hi Folks!
I have a directory having 100 excel files.
Each excel is aving 8 columns.
I want to search for those files whcih is having a particular string in any of the 8 columns of a excel.
The strings are having special chracters like 0005.HK, tre_pdvd_34,978.Hk.RA
Can anyone help me on this?

Hello Subhadeep,
It can be done. What action is to be taken once a workbook is found with one of the strings you are looking for? Are you only looking for the first occurrence of these strings?
