    subtotal function?

    Hi everyone,

Firstly sorry if this is not in the right area or if its been covered elsewhere, but i could not find anything that might be right [i don't know much ]

I have included the zip file i hope to show what i am trying to achieve. Basically i am trying to design an entry sheet as such to verify i am getting paid from my employer correctly. I have managed a drop down list that allows you to select the location on the day, which then is supposed to show a value for the day, then I was trying to get a subtotal at the bottom.

I still plan on trying to add a few more features like tax deductions but i don't seem to be getting this right at all.

    Pay.zip

Any suggestions will be most appreciated.

    Maxx

Your formula is returning the values as text.

Remove the quotes (") from the numbers and watch the magic appear!

    BTW, nice colour scheme
