    Macro error that pops up all the time

    everytime i close out of excel a window pops up saying

    Macro error at cell;
    [Download.xla]DOWNLOAD!C38

    what to do?

    Obvoiusly an error in your macro......would probably need to see the macro (VBE) text to work out whats happening.
    Could you post the script ?
    Is it always the same cell reported C38 ?

    .xla usually means that it is an add in that is causing your problem. Are you aware that you have an add in to your excel? Is it from a reliable source?
