    Set cells to not print?

I am having a brain lapse.

How do I set up to not print certain cells or rows or columns short of hiding them?
    Thanks!
    Dennis

I am using Windows 7 and Office 2007, all of my posts are based on this.

You can set a Print area by highlighting the range(s) you wish to have printed and clicking on Print Area -> Set from the File dropdown menu (at least that's how it works in Excel2000). You can highlight non-contiguous areas by holding down the Cntrl key.

I am familiar with Set Print Area

I thought there was a way to format a cell (or range) to not print, even if it was within the Print Area a different user might select.

Similar to the way text boxes and other graphic items can be set to not print.

    Maybe I am mistaken.

    Thank You!

I must have been mistaken about a cell property to not print.

I have used font colors to avoid having something show up in the past.

I have a sheet set up with user instruction scattered around it that I wanted to not be printed.

I may end up having to write some code in the BeforePrint even to specifically exclude my instruction.
