    Drop-Down List problem

I have assigned cell A1 to have a validation List. It references another sheet with all of my customer names, addresses and contact information.

When I choose one of the names from the drop-down list in A1. I want cells A2, A3,A4 to populate with the corresponding contact information for that customer. Can this be done?

This can usually be done using some variation of the VLOOKUP function.

Post a .zip sample of your work for a more specific answer.

I was able to download the file, however, when I opened it it told me to run the office 2000 repair tool.

I answered ok, and then the file opened up. But, when I choose an alternate name from the pull-down list, nothing in the address field or ship to fields changes?

    Does it in your file?

The reason it is not working is that calculations are set to manual.

    To correct this:
-Go to TOOLS in the Main Toolbar
    -Select OPTIONS.
    -Select the CALCULATION Tab
    -Set Calculation to Manual

Let me know if that helps.
