Subtotal coded amounts sorted in numerical order

I am trying to come up with formulas in columns H & I that will yield a numerical list of codes with corresponding subtotals. For example

Column E has the dollar amounts, column F has the codes:

    ____E___ __F__
    1 Amount Code
    2 350.33 711
    3 680.41 263
    4 538.49 922
    5 836.45 853
    6 283.99 711
    7 300.00 263
    8 356.44 711
    9 238.33 922

would yield in column H a numerical list of codes & column I subtotals:

    ___H__ ___I____
    1 Code Subtotals
    2 263 980.41
    3 711 990.76
    4 853 836.45
    5 922 776.82
    6
    7
    8
    9

I would like to see the subtotaling of codes as I enter the data.

Thank you very much for all your help. mikeburg

Subtotal coded amounts sorted in numerical order

    With
Col_E containing amounts, with E1: Amount
Col_F containing code numbers, with F1: Code

    Then
    H1: Code
    I1: Subtotals

Your formula's work great! But what do I modify if the data starts on row 4 instead of row 2?

    Thanks a bunch!

If your data starts in Row_4, with
    E4: Amount
    F4: Code

    Try these:
