    Formula's for

    Hi

If a number in a cell is more than another number, how do make the number turn red.

Also how do you make a negative no. turn red and a positive number stay black.

    Hope you that makes sense!

    Thanks everyone!

    Hi,

You can do this via Conditional Formatting. Go to:

Format > Conditional Formatting then change the drop down displaying 'between' to 'greater than', enter your number (or cell reference) in the box, then click the 'Format' button and change to red, or whatever colour/format you desire.

With negative numbers, just choose the 'less than' and type in 0, then change the formatting again.

Then click OK to exit and view your results.

    HTH,
