    Dont understand excel error

When I try to save my document, excel gives an error that says that i have a formula in cell k1 that is more than 8192 characters long. Well, thats not true, but it is telling me to save the file in binary form. I have links to and from outside workbooks. Will saving in binary change anything? Will my links still work if i keep the name of this file the same?

Here is k1 by the way:
    =IF(SUMPRODUCT(--($B$2:$B$300=K$1),--($D$2:$D$300=$J3))>0,SUMPRODUCT(--($B$2:$B$300=K$1),--($D$2:$D$300=$J3)),"")

Also, when this error first came up, I just didnt save it, and when I tried to reopen it, excel just kept crashing.

I fixed it. I just had to click on the formula bar and press enter on each cell of my table.
