    Changing colour of highlighting

    does anyone know how to change the colour of which you highlight a field in excel 2007

    I think I got this one covered...

    Very simply click the drop down box arrow directly next to the highlight button, and a box full of different colors will appear. Click the one you want, and the next time you highlight a cell it will do so in that color.

    by highlight i mean literly just when you highlight some fields. in excel 2007 highlights the fields in a light coloured blue which are extremely hard to see hence me wanting the change the colour in which it will highlight the field.

    System Setting

    That is not part of excel, that is part of your system settings in your operating system. You can try go into your display properties and change the style and colors of those, and that will also change which color the selection highlights in excel.

    unforunitly this does not work in excel 2007.
    any other ideas mate?
