lines are dissapiring(nking) while scrooling down worksheet

HI.
P D 512 mb ram, win xp pro, office 2003/

In some of my xls' when i scroll down the lines are disappearing for a second and the scrolling goes very slow' the greed lines are also disappearing and then comes back after a while.
It's imposable for me to work like that, any ideas?

Hi,

the delayed screen refresh would normally indicate a resources problem. Have you recently done a cleanup? run a DeFrag? checked for Virus?

If you rightmouse the clock (bottom right corner) and open the Task Manager you can check that your system has 'idle time' when it should be idle etc.

Reduce the number of open applications so that your spellchecker can function, check the updates for your anti-virus software and scan your drives, and cleanup the disk is usually a good place to start.
