Excel Special Paste Formula is decieving

Hi everyone. I am a new member here.

I got a problem with the excel formula paste.

Lets say there is some data on one worksheet - sheet 1- that have formulas applied to them - thats fine.

Now there is some data on another sheet - sheet 2- with no formulas applied to them - thats cool too.

I want to keep my data in sheet2 but analyse them with the formulas in sheet 1.

Now if you select the sheet 1 and select all, copy, then go to sheet 2, select all, and paste special - formulas - something bad happens:

The fomulas have been applied to sheet 2 from sheet 1, but excel also pastes the values from sheet 1.
I don't want the values from sheet 1 - just the formulas.

Anyway i reckon that the paste formulas is deceiving - paste formulas should, as the name suggests, only paste
formulas.

If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.
