Sorting with unequal cell size

HI,

if you un-merge column A you will note there are values that are not displayed whilst the cells are merged.

No doubt you recall the 'merge' notifying you of multiple values.

This will make working with the data difficult, is this a true representation of your data?

BR,

then select columns A&B and Un-Merge, then in a spare column, (say F) in F2 put

=IF(A2="",F1,A2)

and formula fill that down as far as your data

Select that column (should be all dates) and copy, then Paste Special = Values over column A.

remove the spare column.
