    Enter data for filtering

Thank you in advance for any help.

    Question:
I would like to enter a lot of data into excel like this

    A1: Name B1: Last Name
    A2: Address B2: 2nd Address
    A3: Phone # B3: E-Mail
    A4:
    A5: Name B5: Last Name
    A6: Address B6: 2nd Address
    A7: Phone # B7: E-Mail
How can I filter after I input all the data so the names will alphabeticalize and will keep the appropriate address and phone # and email, etc ?

Is there any specific reason for this setup? Generally speaking, this type of setup makes it very hard to analyze the data, rendering many of Excel's features useless.

As BigBas says, You would do better to have 6 colums across and no blank lines. That way you can sort and filter as much as you like.

The specific reason for this is due to the print out.

I would like to have about 15 different cells to fill out and keep them on 1 page. When I have them all in 1 row i get 2 pages in length (landscape is on) and it's hard to read the data that way.

    OK,

I would have two sheets. The first would contain the raw data in rows, the second would pull the data out and present it as you want.

That way you can filter and sort the data and still have it presented in the way you want.
